Media Processing Software Libraries
MDS offers audio and video software libraries for NXP Semiconductors Nexperia media processors including the PNX1300, PNX1500/0190, and PNX1700 processor families. The "libraries" contain software "components" that plug into the NXP Semiconductors NDK/MPTK framework. The software components contain intellectual property, and are therefore supplied in binary linkable library format (source code not provided) unless otherwise indicated). Most of the libraries do, however, contain source code for the application-level examples that show you how to use the software components.
The software libraries listed here are provided by NXP Semiconductors and by some of the world's top independent media-processing software development companies. If the functionality you're looking for isn't listed here please contact us. We may be able to find an alternate supplier for the software you need.
The NXP Semiconductors software components for the PNX1500/0190, and PNX1700 families are now available only in the bundled package (MPTK Bundle) listed on this page. In other words, you can no longer buy separate portions of the NXP Semiconductors MPTK libraries as you could in past versions. Also note that, even though all NXP Semiconductors software library components are purchased as a bundle, we cannot ship (nor provide download authorization for) some portions of the bundle until we can verify that you are licensed to use those products (Dolby and DivX, for example).
Please note that we no longer sell libraries for the TM1300/ PNX1300, although some of our partner companies can still help with custom design and libraries for the 1300 processor.
