The MDS-225 is a full featured development platform for the Trident's PNX8935 device, offering a rich platform for the development of video products that require HD MPEG2 or h264 decode (up to 1080p30 or 1080i60).
Applications are developed under embedded Linux running on an embedded MIPS32 processor on the PNX8935.
While designed for use as a platform for IP STB applications, the MDS-225 can be used for developing a range of decoder systems.
