The DAP-7 is used as a cradle during the development of applications for the DAE-7A and -7C modules. It is also available as OEM product, either as a complete chassis or as a board set for incorporation into a custom chassis design. The system features 8 analog input and output channels using high quality Burr Brown ADCs and DACs, along with high quality op-amp stages and a low noise power supply design. Typical analog in to analog output performance exceeds 112 dB dynamic range, and 100 dB THD+N (A-weighted measurements).
When combined with Texas Instruments (TI) CCS tools and JTAG it can also serve as a generic hardware platform for development of DA610 and DA710 applications.
