|DAE-6D||Contact factory for OEM pricing||Datasheet|
The DAE-6D has the same digital feature set as the DAE-77 module but adds 2 channels of ADC and 8 channels of high quality DACs to create an integrated "AVR on a module" surround sound decoder and processing subsystem with analog input and output.The DAE-6D can be combined with MDS' HDMI modules to form the core capability of a typical surround sound pre-processor system.
The DAE-6D supports the Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio formats used on BluRay discs and carried over HDMI. There are two Texas Instruments DA710 DSPs; one DSP is dedicated for compressed audio decode and the other for post processing. This provides for considerable flexibility for the post processing which includes room effects, bass management, multiband parametric EQ, and optional third party room correction. The hardware includes ASRC (Asynchronous Sample Rate Converter) between the two DSPs which provides both sample rate conversion without using DSP resources as well as clock jitter reduction for problematic HDMI or SPDIF sources.
