The DAE-4 is a high quality OEM module for AV Receiver and home theater system builders. Based on the Texas Instruments DA610, a 32/64 bit floating point part specifically designed for A/V Receiver and surround sound decoder applications, it offers good performance and feature integration at a mid level price-point.
The DAE-4 includes Performance Audio Framework with support for standard Dolby and DTS decoders, post processing including bass management. For applications with higher performance needs or support for HDMI audio please see MDS' DAE-6D, DAE-77, and DAE-8 products.
